Solution

The correct option is D 2ACB2A2
Given that , a and b are roots of Ax2+Bx+C=0
So, a+b=B/A .....(i)
ab=C/A .....(ii)
Also, given that a2 and b2 are roots of x2+px+q=0
So, a2+b2=p .....(iii)
a2b2=q .....(iv)
By using identity, (A+B)2=A2+2AB+B2
(a+b)2=a2+b2+2ab
Putting values from equation (i), (ii) and (iii), we get
(B/A)2=p+2C/A
B2/A2=p+2C/A
p=2C/AB2/A2
p=(2ACB2)/A2
