The correct option is B independent
Given,
P(B)=12
or, P(B)=112
or P(B)=12.......(1).
Again given,
P(AB)=13.......(2).
Also,
P(AB)=56
or P(A)+P(B)P(AB)=56 [ Using formula]
or, P(A)+1213=56 [ Using (1) and (2)]
or, P(A)=23.
Now we have P(AB)=P(A).P(B) [ Since 13=23.12]
So the events A,B are independent.
