Question

If a body is moving in circular motion with constant speed but changing direction then how it can be in non uniform motion as speed is constant?
If it is in nonuniform motion because its direction is changing so we can we can make acceleration non uniform by either changing speed or direction.

Solution

Dear student,

If a body is moving in circular motion with constant speed but changing direction then it will have constant speed but non- uniform velocity. This non- uniform velocity is because of the change in direction.
If it is non- uniform motion then it can be accelerated even with constant speed.

Thanks and regards.
