Initial velocity (u) =0.

Final velocity (v) =144 kmh or 144×518=40ms.

Time (t) =20 sec.

Step 2: Formula :

v=u+at .

S=ut+12×a×t2.

Step 3: Calculation :

v=u+at

40=a×20a=2ms2.

S=ut+12×a×t2.

S=0×20+12×2×202.S=0+12×2×202.S=400m.
