Solution

The correct option is E 4
Let the revenue in December be x

Given that revenue in November is 25 of its revenue in December.

Therefore, revenue in November is 25x

Given that revenue in January is 14 of its revenue in November.

Therefore, revenue in January is 14(25x)=110x

Average of revenues in November and January is 25x+110x2

=4+12×10x=14x=14(revenue in December)

revenue in December=4(average)
