Given acosθbsinθ=c ........(i)
now let asinθ+bcosθ=k ........(ii)
by squaring equation (i) and (ii) and then adding
a2(sin2θ+cos2θ)+b2(sin2θ+cos2θ)=c2+k2
a2+b2=c2+k2
k2=a2+b2c2
k=±a2+b2c2
