So, Number of days is directly proportional to Number of fields ploughed​

Let number of days be ‘n’ and number of fields ploughed be ‘f’​

Then, n is directly proportional to f​

$\Rightarrow \frac{n_1}{f_1}=\frac{n_2}{f_2}$

Here,​

$n_1=6$ days​

$f_1=2$ fields​

$n_2=15$ days​

$f_2=$ number of fields ploughed in 12 days ​

$\frac{6}{2}=\frac{15}{f_2}$

$f_2=\frac{(15\times 2)}{6}=5$ fields​
