The pollen in the anther contains the male gametes and the ovules in the ovary contain the female gamete. After pollination, the male gametes reaches the ovary and fuses with the egg. So if a flower is not pollinated, fertilisation or fusion of gametes will not occur. So, no zygote will be produced. So, the flower will die out without producing seeds.
