Solution

Amoeba do not have eyes, nose or other sensory organs to sense things in its environment. But they sense their environment through chemical attractions, a process known as chemotaxis. It can find its food by these chemical attractions. As soon as it encounters food near itself, it extends its pseudopodia and engulf the food.
