Construction : Draw OP⊥AD
For outer circle, AD is chord ∴AP=PD...(1)
(Perpendicular from centre bisect the chord & for inner circle, BC is chord) ∴BP=PC....(2) (Perpendicular from centre bisect the chord)
Subtract equation (2) from equation (1) ⇒AP–BP=PD–PC⇒AB=CD
