For first firm-
Nominal value of 1 share=Rs.100
Market value of 1 share=Rs.120
Dividend=5%
No.of share=InvestmentM.Vof1share=26400120=220
Annual Return=No.of share×Div.×N.V of 1 share
220×5100×100=Rs.1100

For second firm -
Nominal value of 1 share=Rs.100
Market value of 1 share=Rs.132
Dividend=6%
No.of share=InvestmentM.Vof1share=26400132=200
Annual Return=No.of share×Div.×N.V of 1 share
200×6100×100=Rs.1200

Difference between the annual returns=12001100=Rs.100
