Solution

Concept : 1 Mark
Calculation : 2 Marks

We have,

S.P. of the Cart = 720

Loss =25%

C.P.=(100100Loss×S.P.)

C.P.=Rs(10010025×720)=Rs.(43×720)=Rs.960

Thus, C.P. of the cart = Rs. 960

Desired gain =25%

S.P.=100+Gain%100×C.P.

S.P.=Rs(100+25100×960)=Rs(125100×960)=Rs(54×960)=Rs.1200
