Solution

Apply the divisibility test

According to the test of divisibility by 5 , if the last digit /the digit in the unit's place of a number is either 0 or 5 then the number is divisible by 5.

For example: 210 is a number with 0 in its units place.

By prime factorisation we can write,

210=2×3×7×5

5 is a factor of 210. So, the number is divisible by 5.

All numbers with 5 in the units place are multiples of 5. Hence , all of them are divisible by 5.

Hence, we can conclude that, any number with 0 or 5 in its units place, is divisible by 5.
