The correct option is A 3
Let the number A be divisible by 9.
So, the remainder when A is divided by 9 is 0.
$D i v i d e n d = (d i v i s o r \times q u o t i e n t) + r e m a i n d e r$
So, $A = 9 \times B + 0 = 9 \times B$
$A = 9 \times B = 3 \times 3 \times B = 3 \times 3 B$
So, A is also divisible by 3 because 3 is factor of 9.
Note that if A is divisible by 3 it need not be divisible by 9. For example 12 is divisible by 3 but not by 9.
