Question

If a particle starts moving with initial velocity u=1 ms1 and acceleration a=ms2, the velocity of the particle at any time is given by v=u+at=1+2t. Plot the velocity - time graph of the particle.

Solution

We use formula
v=u+at

Given,

u=1ms1, a=2ms2

suubstituting these values in above eqn, we get,

v=1+2t

Now we plot the graph of v v/s t .
