Solution

The correct option is A

24

The number of ways he can give at least one 10 rupees to his friend Ram = Giving one of 10 rupees note or Giving two of 10 rupees note or Giving all three of 10 rupees note

The number of ways he can give none or some notes of 10 rupees to his friend = 3

Similarly,

The number of ways he can give at least one 50 rupees to his friend Ram = 4

The number of ways he can give at least one of 100 rupees note to Ram = 2

Total number of ways of giving at least one note of each kind = (3)(4)(2) = 24
