Solution

The correct option is D High
Contraction of the heart exerts pressure on the walls of the arteries, known as blood pressure. Pressure recorded during the contraction of the heart is called as systolic pressure, while that during relaxation is called diastolic pressure. The blood pressure of a normal healthy person is 120/80 mm Hg and is measured through sphygmomanometer. If the person has a systolic pressure greater than 120 mm of Hg, and the diastolic pressure greater than 80 mm Hg, then the person is said to have high blood pressure.
