If a point $C$ lies between two points $A$ and $B$ such that $AC=BC$, then prove that $AC=\frac{1}{2}AB$.

Given $C$ lies between two points $A$ and $B$ such that $AC=BC$.......(1).

Also we have,

$AC+BC=AB$

or, $2AC=AB$ [ Using (1)]

or, $AC=\frac{1}{2}AB$
