If a polyhedron has 10 edges and 7 faces, find the number of vertices in it.

Open in App
Solution

Edges(E) = 10; Faces(F) = 7
Using Euler’s formula,
F + V – E = 2
7 + V – 10 = 2
V - 3 = 2
V = 2 + 3
V = 5
