As we know, Euler's Formula is
F + V = E + 2 (where F represent the number of faces, V represent the number of vertices and E represent the number of edges).
Given: Number of faces = 8
Number of edges = 18
Let the number of vertices = x
Using Euler's Formula, we get
F + V = E + 2
8+x=18+2
x=208=12
Number of vertices = 12.
