"if a reserve is represented by investments,it is termed as 'fund' and not reserve".What does this statement means??

Dear Student,

In general there is no specific difference between "Reserve and Reserve Fund " both are considered in similar context,
but yes the literal meaning is that the "amount of reserve which is invested outside the business is termed as Reserve Fund whereas amount within the business is only Reserve"
