Solution

The correct option is A from the date on which the resolution is passed
Article 61of the Constitution of India provides the process of impeachment of the President on the ground of “violation of the Constitution.” The Article specifically provides that the charge shall be made by either House of Parliament. Such charge is contained in the resolution. The resolution shall be made only after providing at least 14 days written notice signed by not less 1/4th of the total members of the House. The resolution must be passed by 2/3rd of the total number of members of the both the Houses. The President then stand removed from his office from the date on which the resolution is so passed.
