If a solid sphere is melted and drawn into a wire, we know that they have same volume. Do they have same surface area as well?

surface area will same only when radius of sphere=radius of wire and h=r other wise will deffrent surface area surface area of sphere =4pi* r^2 surface area of wire=2pi*r(r+h) when radius of wire and radius of sphere will be equal and h=r then surface area of sphere and wire will be equal
