If a square wall of side 40m has to be covered with shahabad stones of size 250cm×100cm,then,

What will be total cost at the rate of 200 per stone?

The side of the square =40m

Area of the square =Side×Side

=40×40=1600

So, the area of the Rectangle is 1600m2=1600×10000=16000000cm2

Then we need to find the area of stones

Area of Stone =length×breadth

=250×100=25000

So, the Area of stone is 25000cm2

Then the number of stone =AreaofRectangleAreaoftiles

=1600000025000=640

Total Cost =Rate×numberofstones

=200×640=132000

Hence, the total cost of stones is 132000.
