If the uniform beam is in rotational equilibrium, net torque on the beam about point U must be zero i.e. τU=0
Consider anti-clockwise direction to be positive.
τU=(F)(40)+(3)(10)+(2)(40)=0
F=2.75 N
Torque of F about W, τ=F×80=2.75×80=220 N cm
