Resistnace of the wire initially R=ρLA where L=V/A
R=ρVA2=ρVπ2r4 (A=πr2)
Now its radius is reduced such that new radius r=r/n
Thus resistance of the wire R=ρVπ2(r/n)4=n4R
Hence resistance becomes n4 times the initial resistance.
