Open in App
Solution

A={x:xW,3x<6}
A={3,4,5}
B={3,5,7} and
C={2,4}
Now, BC= contains all elements present only in B NOT in C
BC={3,5,7}{2,4}
BC={3,5,7}
A×(BC)={3,4,5}×{3,5,7}
={(3,3),(3,5),(3,7),(4,3),(4,5),(4,7),(5,3),(5,5),(5,7)}

Thus there are a total of 9 elements in the above set.
