Area of $△ABC$ = $\frac{1}{2}$$\times$base$\times$height 24 = $\frac{1}{2}$$\times$AD$\times$BC
BC = $\frac{24\times 2}{AD}$ = $\frac{48}{4.8}$ = 10 cm

As $△ABC$ is a right-angled triangle
Area of $△ABC$ = $\frac{1}{2}$$\times$AB$\times$AC
AC = $\frac{24\times 2}{AB}$ = $\frac{48}{6}$ = 8 cm
