Since α and β are the roots of the equation x2+5x+5=0So, α+β=-5and αβ=5Let S and P be the sum of roots and product of the roots of the required eqaution.So, S=α+1+(β+1)=α+β+2=-5+2=-3and P=(α+1)(β+1)=αβ+α+β+1=5-5+1=1So, required equation is kx2+3x+1 where k is a non-zero constant
