where α and β are zero's of polynomial
Therefore, f(x)=x25x+k=0
Express in terms of ax2+bx+c=0
where, a=1
b=5
c=k
and α+β=(bb)=5....(2)
αβ=ca=k....(3)
squaring equation (1) both sides
(αβ)2=(1)2
(α2+β2+2αβ)2αβ2αβ=1
(α+β)24αβ=1
putting values from equation (2) and (3)
(5)24k=1

4k=24
