Solution

Step 1 : Given data

am=blal=bm.....(i)ax+by=c......(ii)lx+my=n.......(iii)

Step 2: Compare with Standard form

After comparing the given equation with the standard form of linear equation. we get,

a1=a,b1=b,c1=-ca2=l,b2=m,c2=-n

Now, from (i),(ii) and (iii)

a1a2=alb1b2=bmc1c2=-c-n=cnal=bmcn(Using(i))

Hence, the given pair of equations has no solution.
