The correct option is B
Rs. 10000

Let the principal be P.

SI = $\frac{(P R N)}{100}$

R = 10

N = 4

SI = $\frac{(P \times 10 \times 4)}{100} = \frac{4 P}{10}$

Amount $= P + S I = P + \frac{4 P}{10} = \frac{14 P}{10}$

From question, $\frac{14 P}{10} =$ Rs. $14000$

So, solving we can get the principal (P) = Rs. $10000$
