If an= 5-11n,then find the common difference

If n = 1 ;
a1 = 5-(11×1)
a1 = -6

If n = 2 ;
a2 = 5-(11×2)
a2 = -17

Now , a1=-6 & a2=-17
Hence, common difference =
d = a2-a1
= -17-(-6)
= -11
