The correct option is C 1/200 s
Given:

Voltage, E=500sin(100πt) V

Comparing with E=E0sinωt, we get, angular frequency,

ω=100π rad/s

So, time period, T=2πω=2π100π=1/50 s


From the figure, we can see that, the time interval between value of voltage from zero (at t=0) to its first maximum value is T/4.

Therefore, time taken,

t=1/504=1/200 s
