Solution

The correct option is C 5:2
In the first case the amount = Rs 1,50,000, and the shares of
A:B:C=2:3:5.
A's share=Rs.1,50,000×22+3+5=Rs1,50,000×210=Rs.30,000.
In the second case, let us assume the amount = Rs x.
The shares of A : B : C= 5 : 3 : 2
A's share=Rs.x×55+3+2=Rs.x2.
So, by the given condition,
Rs. x2=Rs.30,000
Or x=Rs.60,000.
So the second amount=Rs60,000.
The ratio between Rs 1,50,000 and Rs. 60,000
1,50,000:60,000=5:2
