The correct option is A Rs. 9920
Principal $= R s . 8000$ ,
S.I. $= R s . 1200$ ,
Time $= 3$ years
$∴$ Rate $= (\frac{100 \times 1200}{8000 \times 3}) % = 5 %$
New rate $= 8 %$ , Principal $= R s . 8000$ ,
Time $= 3$ years.
$S . I . = R s . (\frac{8000 \times 8 \times 3}{100}) = R s . 1920$
$∴$ New amount $= R s . (8000 + 1920) = R s . 9920$
