The correct option is A 15 m/sec

Given,
Velocity of an object = 5 m/sec

  • When th object is moved with speed V towrds (or away) from the plane mirror then the image also move towards wih speed V.
  • If the mirror move with velocity V towards the object then the image moves with velocity of 2V towards the object.
  • Therefore total image speed = 2 x velocity of mirror + velocity of object = 2 x 5 + 5 = 15 m/s
  • Hence answer is Option D.
