Question

If an organism is eukaryotic does it mean it is having a cell wall?

Open in App
Solution

Dear student

No, it is not necessary that eukaryotic organisms possess cell wall. Eukaryotic organisms have cells with well defined nucleus and other cell organelles.

The cell wall is present only in some eukaryotes like fungi, plants and some protista while animals lack cell wall.
