Median of the data $=$ arithmetic mean of ${\left(\frac{n}{2}\right)}^{th}$ and ${(\frac{n}{2}+1)}^{th}$ observations
$=$ arithmetic mean of $5^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ observations
$=\frac{35+36}{2}=35.5$
