Solution

Women usually have periods until about ages 45 to 55. It varies from person to person.
I would like to let you know that its never and ever a disorder.
However, if the woman is receiving estrogen via some medicine, it may have an effect in delaying the menopause.

The ovaries don't only produce eggs, but also hormones such as estrogen, progesterone, and several others. As the cycle that prepares follicles for release slows down, so do the hormonal influences.
This is why peri- menopause can last up to 15 years.
