If area of trapezium is 45cm² if distance betweebetween parallel sides is 6cm and of the parallel sides is 10cm. Find the other??

Solution :-

let the other parallel side = b1

other is b2 = 10 cm

Given , Height = 6cm

Given ,Area = 45 cm ^2

Area of trapezium = 1/2 ( b1 + b2 ) h

45 = 1/2 ( b1 + 10 ) 6

45 * 2 = ( b1 + 10 ) 6

90 = ( b1 + 10 )6

90/ 6 = b1 + 10

15 = b1 + 10

15- 10 = b1

5 = b1

or b1 = 5 cm Answer.
