If ax∧ 3+21 2...
Question
If (ax^3 + 2)^2 = a^2*x^6 + x^3 + 4, then find a.
Open in App
Solution
(ax³+2)²=a²*x^6+x³+4
LHS
=(ax³+2)²
=(a²x^6+4+2ax³*2)
=(a²x^6+4ax³+4)
Now equating it to RHS
a²x^6+4ax³+4=a²*x^6+x³+4
4ax³=x³
4a=1
a=1/4
