If ¯A × ¯B = ¯C then which of the following statements is wrong
From the property of vector product, we notice that ¯C must be perpendicular to the plane formed by vector¯A and ¯B. Thus ¯C
is perpendicular to both ¯A and ¯B and (¯A + ¯B) vector also, must lie in the plane formed by vector ¯A and ¯B. Thus ¯C
must the perpendicular to (¯A +¯B ) also but the cross product (¯A × ¯B) gives a vector ¯C which can not be perpendicular to
itself. Thus last statement is wrong.
