if blood group a (with a antigen and b antibody) receives receives blood of A blood group, then won't the lymphocytes produce antibodies to A antigen (which is a foreign substance), ultimately causing blood coagulation ?

No, this will not happen. A person with blood group A have anti-B antibodies and if he receives blood from a person with blood group B, then he will produce antibodies against it.
