Question

if blood is a homogenous mixture then how can it be called as a suspension rather than being as solution as solution are the only ones that are homogenous in nature ????

Solution

Blood is a colloidal solution with partial behavior of a suspension! And it belongs to the non-newtonian liquids!
VERY IMPORTANT INFO: Colloides do not exist freely! You cannot use a spoon of “colloids” and put it in somewhere. Because “colloids” cannot exist purely and outside of their medium (matrix). That’s why we talk about colloidal solutions (or systems) instead!
Why is blood a solution? Because there are substances like NaCl solved in it.
Why is it colloidal? Because you got macromolecules (proteins, …) in the blood
Why is it a suspension, too? Because when you let it stand for some time you will realize sedimentation.
