Solution

The correct options are
B

blue paint = 35 litres

C

yellow paint = 25 litres

Given the ratio in which blue and yellow paint are mixed = 7:5

Let the volume of blue paint used = 7x and volume of yellow paint used = 5x

Given 10 litres of blue paint is used more than yellow paint

7x - 5x = 10

2x = 10

x = 5

volume of blue paint used = 7x = 7× 5

= 35 litres

and volume of yellow paint used = 5x = 5× 5

= 25 litres
