axby=0.....(2)
Multiplying equation (1) by a and equation (2) by b
abx+a2y=a3+ab2 .....(3)
abxb2y=0 ......(4)
Subtracting (4) from (3), we get
(a2+b2)y=a(a2+b2)
y=a
Put this value in (2), we get
x=b
xy=ba
