Open in App
Solution

Length of a single car = 4 m
Length of 2 cars placed one after the other = 4 + 4 = 8 m
Length of 3 cars placed one after the other = 4 + 4 + 4 =12 m
Similarly, Length of 5 cars will be = 4 + 4 +4 +4 +4 =20 m
Length of 6 cars will be = 20 + 4 = 24 m
Since 20 m < 21 m and 24 m > 21 m
Only 5 cars can be parked in the parking space of 21 m.
