If Chlorine, Bromine, Iodine, is a Dobereiner's triad and the atomic masses of Chlorine and Iodine are 35.5u and 127u respectively, then find the atomic mass of Bromine.

In a triad, the atomic mass of the central atom is nearly an average of the other two atoms. In the triad Chlorine, Bromine, Iodine, the mass of Bromine is the average mass of Cl and I.

So, the atomic mass of Br = 35.5+1272=81.25
