Solution

The correct option is C 1
LHS=2x2+3x+4(x1)(x2+2);RHS=A(x2+2)+(Bx+C)(x1)(x1)(x2+2)
LHS=RHS
2x2+3x+4=A(x2+2)+(Bx+C)(x1)
Equating the co-efficients of power of x in LHS and RHS
A+B=2
B+C=3
2AC=4
Solving the equations, we get
A=3
B=1
C=2
So, B=1
